Maersk has confirmed that some Maersk IT systems are down due to a cyber attack. Seventeen locations of APM Terminals, including the locations on the Maasvlakte, have also been hacked.

All activities on the APM Terminals have been shut down because of the attack. The fully automated terminal Rotterdam World Gateway has preventively closed down operations. The safety of business and people is their top priority.
